Our Legacy

A Legacy of Service Since 1941

Jhumarlal Dayanand And Company, based in Rengali, Dist. – Sambalpur, Odisha, India, is a historic and trusted organization that has been dedicated to community service, rural development, and social welfare for over 80 years. Recognized by Government bodies, Civil Society, and Media, our journey reflects a rare combination of vision, commitment, and real ground-level impact.

Founded by Jhumer Babu (Dadaji) and carried forward by Dayababu (Shri Dayanand Ji Agrawal), our organization has transformed the lives of lakhs of families, creating a model of development that blends tradition, innovation, and humanity.

This is an incredible tribute to Jhumar Lal, Daya Nand (Daya Babu), and the entire family for their profound legacy in the Rengali Gram Panchayat. Their contribution is described not just as local leadership, but as a selfless “Nagar Seth” model of service that blends social work, spiritual healing, and infrastructure development.

The Legacy of Daya Nand (Daya Babu)

Daya Babu is celebrated as a Model Icon Sarpanch who served for 25 years with a focus on corruption-free governance and hands-on problem solving.

Jhumar Lal & Family: The "Nagar Seth" Tradition

The family name is synonymous with the Jhumer Shop and Jhumer Bagicha, acting as a social safety net for the community.
